ON 1 July, the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee held a ceremony to allocate 4-unit, 4-story (2-bedroom) apartments in the Thukha Tawwin Housing Project (Phase II), located in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, to applicants via a lottery system.
The head of the Engineering Department (Buildings) stated that construction is scheduled to be completed in June 2027, and the apartments will be handed over to the buyers in July 2027.
U Win Moe Khaing, chairman of the housing development committee and vice-mayor, explained that the initiative aims to meet the housing needs of Nay Pyi Taw residents and to develop the city as a “Green City, Clean City, and Smart City”.
He further noted that the construction is being implemented according to engineering standards and the apartments are being allocated through a transparent lottery system.
It is also reported that the allocation for the 4-unit, 4-story (3-bedroom) apartments will continue on 2 July using the same Digital Spin lottery system. — MT/ZN
