ON 1 July, the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee held a ceremony to allo­cate 4-unit, 4-story (2-bed­room) apartments in the Thukha Tawwin Housing Project (Phase II), located in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, to applicants via a lottery system.

 

The head of the En­gineering Department (Buildings) stated that construction is scheduled to be completed in June 2027, and the apartments will be handed over to the buyers in July 2027.

 

U Win Moe Khaing, chairman of the housing development committee and vice-mayor, explained that the initiative aims to meet the housing needs of Nay Pyi Taw residents and to develop the city as a “Green City, Clean City, and Smart City”.

 

He further noted that the construction is being implemented according to engineering standards and the apartments are being allocated through a trans­parent lottery system.

It is also reported that the allocation for the 4-unit, 4-story (3-bedroom) apartments will continue on 2 July using the same Digital Spin lottery system. — MT/ZN
