Two children were shot dead at about 11:30 pm on 31 March by a PNA paramilitary police at the monastery in Mehe village of Tabet village-tract, Hsiseng Township, Pa-O self-Administered Zone, according to local police station.

“Pyaswe” elephant camp to be kept open during water festival

Being a tourist destination on Mawleik-Pyaungboat-Sawbwa Yeshin road side, out of Mawku reserved forests, four miles west of Mawleik town in Sagaing region, “Pyaswe” elephant conservation camp will be kept open to visitors during water festival.

3200 feet-long concrete road nearly completed

The construction of a 3000-foot concrete road section of 3200-foot long Ponnami road linking ward-88 to ward-81, Dagon Myothit ( Seikkan) Township, eastern district, Yangon region, was completed on 2 April. The road construction was funded by the Yangon region government.
