CARAVANS of bullock carts traveling towards the Mann Shwe Settaw Pagoda Festival, then leaving the pagoda after the festival, are still seen every March.

A Myanmar traditional bullock cart and bullock race kicked off at 10 a.m. on 27 March in the football field in Kyaungtaw Village, Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region. The race is part of the 2,587th Budda Pujaniya Tabaung Festival at the Sandakuu Nant Thar Kyaung Taw Yar Pagoda.
A five-day trial tour on a hot air balloon kicked off at 6 a.m. on 21 March at Thiri field in Hpa-an Township, as part of the Kayin State government’s push to develop tourism in the state.
