A ceremony to open a vocational welding training course was held at the meeting room of the DRD in Kyaiklat Township, Ayeyarwady Region at about 11 am on 4 August.
During the ceremony, headmaster of Kyaiklat Government Technical Institute Dr. Hein Lat delivered an opening speech. Then, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purposes of the training course and discussed matters relating to the training course.
Afterwards, course instructors introduced the subjects to be taught in the training course. The one-month training course which runs from August 4 to September 2 was attended by 30 trainees from villages and wards in the Township, according to an official from the Township DRD.
With a view to creating job opportunities for rural people, the Township Department of Rural Development organized a welding training course in the Township.—Ko Hlaing
