Informative talk on the scourge of drugs was held at the Basic Education High School in Yanlu, Kengtung Township of eastern Shan State at 9:30 am on January 26.

A ceremony to provide cash assistance to the temporarily displaced persons was held at the multi-purpose hall in Pinlaung Township of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone in southern Shan State this morning. The donation was organized by the Township Disaster Management Department under Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement.
