With the aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, the construction works of rural road and culverts have been implemented since August, 2023 in Gwegon Village in Meiktila Township of Mandalay Region and now, all the projects have been completed 100 percent.

The road measuring two miles long, 12 ft. wide and nine inches in volume and two slab culverts have been constructed since the fourth week of August last year by a tender winning company with K 140.63 million allocated by the Union Government for 2023-2024 FY and now, all the project have been completed.

It benefits 12000 acres of farmland of 3445 local people from Gwegon, Yeengan, Mondaing and Kyaukphu villages in the Township, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Than Lwin(Magway)
