DEPARTMENT of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (DTVET) under the Ministry of Science and Technology will conduct a three-week EV Maintenance and Troubleshooting Training from 10 to 28 March 2025, to produce EV trainees equipped with EV technical knowledge and troubleshooting electrical problems in electric vehicles.
They must be healthy enough to execute practical work. Graduates of GTHS (AT, ET, EC), ITC (AT), AGTI, BTech, BE, ME, PhD (Mech, EP, EC, MC), and staff of EV private companies with high school education are eligible to attend the training. The training will offer both practical and theoretical knowledge of EVs using Lab equipment. They will receive a completion certificate. The training will be conducted from 9 am to 4 pm on weekdays at Technical Teachers Training College (TTTC) in Insein, Yangon Region.
Those enthusiastic can enrol in the training by 4 March, providing a citizenship scrutiny card copy, a health certificate by the Township Public Health Department, copies of education certificates, a household registration copy, a criminal clearance certificate and three licence-sized colour photos. The training is limited to 25 trainees.
