SENIOR air force officers, Tatmadaw members and family members of Tatmadaw (Air), representatives from the Myanmar Boxing Federation, competing athletes, and sports fans attended the 31st Commander-in-Chief (Air) boxing championship opening ceremony yesterday morning at the Mingaladon Airbase Headquarters’ gymnasium.
Commander Brig-Gen Maung Maung Soe of the Southern Air Force Command, on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief (Air), first delivered the opening speech. The Commander and attendees then watched the first day of the competition.
The boxing competition will be held with 12 competing teams until 18 July. — MNA/ MKKS
