As part of the rainy season tree planting campaign guided by the Nay Pyi Taw Council, officials in Tatkon Township have planted a total of 10,943 trees across local wards and villages, according to the Township General Administration Department.

 

On 14 July, the Chairman of the Township Administration Body supervised tree planting along roadsides and in vacant areas in Si To Village and Kyar Pin Inn Village in Tatkon Township, Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory. The activity was carried out with the participation of the Village Tract Administrator and local residents.

 

During this event, villagers planted 30 teak, 70 padauk, 100 sakokkol, 100 mezali, and two thapyay trees. Tree planting efforts will continue throughout the remaining wards and villages in Tatkon Township during the rainy season.—Tin Soe Lwin
