The 2025 Rainy Season District-Level Tree Planting Ceremony was held this morning at 8:00 am in the Twante Livestock Zone, Twante District, Yangon Region.

The event was attended by around 350 participants, including U Nyunt Nwe, Chairman of the District Administration Body and its members, the Chairman and members of the Township Administration Body, U Tun Akar, Head of the Township Forest Department, along with departmental staff, district and township-level officials, members of the Women’s Affairs Federation and the Maternal and Child Welfare Supervisory Committee, ward and village tract administrators, and entrepreneurs from the livestock zone.

As part of the ceremony, 2,000 Manjasha trees were planted along both sides of the municipal road, and 7,000 Manjasha trees were planted within the compound of the district livestock zone offices. In addition, 20,000 Manjasha trees were planted simultaneously across farms within the breeding zone, bringing the total number of trees planted to 29,000.— U Myo Hlaing
