Officials from the Myitkyina Township Department of Rural Road Development in Kachin State, inspected the construction of a reinforced concrete bridge in Lwe Khaw Village this morning. The project aims to improve transportation and provide all-season access for rural residents.

During the visit, Daw Su Mon Aung, Staff Officer of the Township Department of Rural Road Development, along with other departmental officials, reviewed the ongoing construction of a 25-foot-long, 20-foot-wide reinforced concrete ridge. Officials met with responsible personnel on site, instructed them to adhere to the set standards, and emphasized the importance of completing the project on schedule.

The bridge is being constructed by the Myitkyina Township Rural Road Development Department with funding from the state budget. Currently, approximately 90 percent of the work has been completed. Once finished, the bridge will provide year-round access for 2,898 residents of Lwe Khaw Village.—Cho Than Nyunt
