Myaung Mya, 30 July
Since 2 June, essential food items have been sold at fair prices in Myaung Mya Township, Ayeyarwady Region, as part of an ongoing effort to ease the cost of living for local residents. The latest sale took place this morning at 7:00 a.m. at the corner of Aung San Road and Road-7.
Organized by the Myaung Mya District Commodity Price Stabilization Committee, five mobile teams are distributing key food items—such as rice, cooking oil, chicken eggs, and duck eggs—at reduced prices. Today’s prices included rice at Ks 2,000 per basket, palm oil at Ks 6,800 per viss, chicken eggs at Ks 350 each, and duck eggs at Ks 430 each.
On 30 July, staff from the Myaung Mya District and Township Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department, the Department of Consumer Affairs, and the Fire Services Department jointly sold 40 bags of rice, 110 viss of palm oil, 2,100 chicken eggs, and 300 duck eggs.—Zeyar (Myaung Mya)
