A house in Kyar Chaung Village, Pyapon District, Ayeyarwady Region, was completely destroyed by heavy rain and strong winds on 25 July.

In response, the Township Disaster Management Department visited the affected village and provided financial and material assistance to the affected household. The aid was distributed on 31 July at 4 p.m. at the office of the Township General Administration Department.

During the event, Assistant Director Daw Khin Moh Moh Thwin of the Township Disaster Management Department, along with the Township Administrator, provided housing materials worth Ks 100,000, rice and food supplies worth Ks 30,000 for a family of six, and a relief kit containing 16 essential items valued at over Ks 100,000.—Moe Set (Bogale)
