A ceremony to honor seven government-recognized outstanding students for their achievements in academics and sports was held this morning at 9:00 a.m. at Panya Yadana Hall of the Basic Education, Industrial, Agricultural, and Livestock High Schools in Kyangin Township, Ayeyarwady Region.

 

Nine Central-Level Lu Yee Chun Award recipients were welcomed with flower garlands by Sayadaw of Lewa Monastery, Myan Aung District Education Officer U Myint Aung, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee U Win Hlaing, Major Thaung Htut Lwin, and other local officials, along with school heads, teachers, and students.

 

The ceremony continued in the Honorary Hall with an opening performance of “Future Lu Yee Mon” by Chin Myoung students, followed by speeches from Education Officer U Myint Aung, Chairman Management and Administration Committee U Win Hlaing, and Township Education Officer Daw Htay Htay. Former Lu Yee Chun Central Committee Chairman U Soe Myint (University Soe San) shared his experience, and Grade-5 student Naw Pyae Phu Lwin Aung sang “My Goal.”

 

Awards and certificates were then presented to Maung Sitthwe Nyi (Kyangin B.E.H.S-1) – twice awarded, Ma Myat Htoo Htoo Naing (Kyangin B.E.H.S-1) – twice awarded, Ma Aeint Chit Thae (Kyangin B.E.H.S-1), Maung Lin Lin Pho Lu (Bayet B.E.H.S), Ma Khon Cho Tha Zaw (Kyangin B.E.H.S-1), Maung Thaw Zin Lin (Chin Myoung School), Ma Yaw Hani Thwin (Bayet B.E.H.S).

 

 

Afterward, Ma Myat Htoo Htoo Naing delivered a thank-you speech on behalf of the students. The event concluded with a performance of the song “Youth Talent.” Then, local officials, private company representatives, parents, and teachers presented additional honorary awards to the outstanding students.
