U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for the Ministry 2 of the Presi­dent’s Office, received Mr Mi­chael Dunford, World Food Pro­gramme (WFP) Representative and Country Director, United Nations Resident Coordinator ad interim and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim, yester­day afternoon at the parlour of the Office of the National De­fence and Security Council in Nay Pyi Taw.

 

Both sides cordially ex­changed views on humanitar­ian assistance distribution to those people in need, preparing to hold a free and fair general election, post-disaster recovery efforts and building a progres­sive and strengthened social community.

 

Officials from the Ministry 2 of the President’s Office were present at the meeting. — MNA
