UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn received Myanmar-India Friendship Association Chairman U Win Myint and his team at the Ministry’s meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting, they had friendly discussions on the activities of the Myanmar-India Friendship Association to promote the bilateral friendship and further enhance Myanmar-India friendship.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, the permanent secretary, and officials from the Myanmar-India Friendship Association.
After the meeting, the Chairman of the Myanmar-India Friendship Association presented the donations to the Union Minister for the staff of the Ministry of Information affected by the earthquake. — MNA/MKKS
