The Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank in Kawa Township continued the disbursement of 2025 Monsoon Agricultural Loans yesterday morning at its local office.
To begin the event, U Min Naing, Manager of the Kawa Township branch of the Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank, briefed attending farmers on the rules and regulations associated with the bank’s agricultural loan program. He emphasized the importance of timely repayment and adherence to bank policies.
A total of Ks. 72.15 million was disbursed to 59 farmers from Tawa Village, all of whom had successfully repaid their 2024 Monsoon Agricultural Loans. The funds cover 481 acres of farmland, provided at the rate of Ks. 150,000 per acre.
Loan disbursement will continue for other eligible farmers who have settled previous loans in accordance with the bank’s repayment schedule.— Ye Zaw Hein (IPRD)
