The Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (MADB) in Minhla Township, Thayet District, Magway Region, continued its disbursement of rain-fed crop loans for the 2025 cultivation season at 10 a.m. today.
As part of the 2025–2026 fiscal year plans, the Township MADB aims to disburse Ks 2.1 billion in loans to 3,000 farmers across 40 village tracts. The loans are being provided in a transparent and accessible manner to eligible farmers who hold official Land Use Certificates (Form-7).
Loan disbursements for rain-fed crops began in May 2025. As of 18 August, an additional Ks 96 million in loans had been granted to 143 farmers from three village tracts. The loan program will continue through the end of September 2025 to ensure that all eligible farmers in the township receive the necessary financial support.
The rainy season loan period will run from May to the end of September 2025, and the remaining farmers in the township will continue to receive loans.— Win Myat (Upper Minhla)
