A groundbreaking ceremony for a new two-storey school building was held at 7:30 a.m. yesterday at No. 1 Basic Education High School (B.E.H.S.-1) in Einme Township, Myaungmya District, Ayeyarwady Region.

The ceremony was attended by Township Education Officer Daw Thin Thin Lwin, Headmistress Daw Thida Lin Lin Khaing, members of the School Board of Trustees, and other officials. The attendees sprinkled scented water on the designated construction site.

The new building, which will be 140 feet long and 30 feet wide, will be constructed by Hein Htet Lin Aung Co., Ltd.— Chit Thet Le (IPRD)
