The Rural Road Development Department is currently undertaking the construction of the Chaung Salan–15 Mile inter-village gravel road in Kawthoung Township, Tanintharyi Region. The project, funded with Ks 238.545 million for the 2025–2026 fiscal year, aims to improve rural connectivity in the Township.

The road paving project began in July and is being implemented by the Rural Road Development Department. On 17 August, the Assistant Director (Urban) of the District Road Development Department, along with the township engineer and relevant officials, conducted an on-site inspection of the project and provided necessary guidance.— Rupa Myint (IPRD)
