A ceremony honoring outstanding students from the 2025 Academic Year Matriculation Examination (Grade 12), along with the teachers who helped them achieve high marks, was held at the Mogaung Town Hall on August 18 at 9:00 AM, Mogaung Township, Kachin State. The event began with a school song performed by students from Mogaung B.E.H.S-2.

Following the performance, State Education Officer U Soe Thaik delivered the opening speech. U Thiha Zaw, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee, then spoke about the significance of the Excellence Awards and the selection process for the outstanding students.

Medals, certificates of honor, and cash prizes were awarded by the wife of the State Education Officer, members of the Township Management and Administration Committee, and township-level departmental officials. Awards were presented to one student who achieved national-level 5th place in the Arts stream, one student who achieved national-level 10th place in the Arts stream, two students with six distinctions, two students with five distinctions, twelve students with four distinctions, seventeen students with three distinctions, thirty-five students with two distinctions, one hundred and thirteen students with one distinction, and sixty-five teachers who contributed to the students' success. The total cost of the awards amounted to Ks 28,849,000.
