North Okkalapa, 21 August

A traffic and road safety awareness session was held this morning at Myat Thazin Hall of No. 7 Basic Education Middle School in North Okkalapa Township, organized by No. 35 Traffic Control Unit from Mayangone District, Yangon Region.

The session began at 9:00 a.m., with Police Major Hlaing Win Aung, Township Platoon Commander, delivering a lecture focused on essential traffic rules. Topics included safe road-crossing practices, pedestrian guidelines, group walking rules, and safety measures for slow-moving vehicles. Pamphlets on traffic regulations were also distributed to students.

Following the presentation, the school headmaster expressed gratitude to the traffic police for their efforts in promoting road safety among students.
