Taungoo, August 21

Concrete paving work on Pagoda Road in Ward-5, Taungoo, Bago Region, is now 80% complete, according to the Township Development Committee.

The project is being funded with Ks. 345.028 million from the Township Development Committee’s approved capital for the 2025–2026 fiscal year. The road under construction measures 3,558 feet long, 12 feet wide, and 8 inches thick, and is being built by a company selected through a tender process.

Once completed, the improved road is expected to enhance transportation and ease travel for both residents and pedestrians.— Zaw Ko Ko (Taungoo)
