Upper Min Hla, 21 August

A ceremony to honor outstanding matriculation students and the teachers who contributed to their success was held this morning at 9:30 a.m. at Min Let Wa Hall, Basic Education High School, Min Hla Township, Magway Region.

U Than Htun Aung, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee, and U Nyunt Win, Township Education Officer, delivered opening remarks. Dr. Aung Myint, Chairman of the School Board of Trustees, also spoke on the purpose and significance of the event.

Awards were then presented by U Than Htun Aung, Daw Nge Nge Aung, Chairperson of the Township Women’s Affairs Federation, U Nyunt Win, members of the School Board of Trustees, and Headmaster U Tin Maung Than.

This year, Min Hla Township saw one student earn five distinctions, two students achieve four distinctions, one student earn three, two receive two, and four students gain one distinction each.— Win Myat (Ahtet Minhla)
