An academic excellence award ceremony and the annual Parent-Teacher Association meeting for the 2025–2026 academic year were held on August 25 at Thuriya Hall, No. 2 Basic Education High School in Thazi Township, Mandalay Region.

The event began with a school song performed by Grade-4 and Grade-5 students. Speeches were delivered by U Myo Thet Kyaw, Chairman of the Township Management and Administration Committee, Township Education Officer U Hla Htun, and Headmistress Daw Lei Lei Sain.

Certificates, medals, and cash awards were presented to top-performing students, matriculation exam achievers, and outstanding teachers. A cultural performance by Grade-7 students concluded the event.
