Ten households displaced by riverbank erosion along the Irrawaddy River in Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region, received cash assistance this morning at the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department.

Officials from the Township Disaster Management Department provided a total of Ks1,210,000 for rice rations and relocation expenses to 42 affected family members from Minmahla Village, Manmyay Village(North), and Pinwa Kyun Village.— Soe Thu Aung (IPRD)
