The Rural Development Department of Mongyang Township, Shan State (East), held its 2025 Rainy Season Tree Planting Ceremony today along the roadside of Monglwe Smart Village. The event aimed to promote environmental conservation and community participation in reforestation.

District Head U Yan Kyaw outlined the ceremony's objectives and handed over saplings to the village administrator. Local officials, department staff, and villagers then joined together to plant shade trees including teak, mezali, seinpan, and auresus.— Poe Thakhin
