The Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Bogale Township, Pyapon District, Ayeyarwady Region, has completed the distribution of financial support for rain-fed paddy cultivation, which began on 19 May this year. As of 23 September, a total of Ks 5,753.7 million has been provided to farmers in the township, according to officials from the bank.
The funds were distributed to 4,505 farmers from 76 village tracts, supporting cultivation across 38,358 acres of rain-fed paddy. Each acre received Ks 150,000 in financial assistance.— Moe Set (Bogale)
