Officials from the Department of Rural Development in Aunglan Township, Magway Region, inspected the construction of two slab culvert bridges in Moekaung Village this morning.

Led by U Win Naing, Head of the Aunglan District Rural Development Department, the team checked construction quality and discussed timely completion with village elders and members of the road construction committee.

The project, launched in the third week of September, is being implemented by the Aunglan Township Rural Development Department in cooperation with local residents at a cost of Ks. 17 million. Currently, 80 percent of the work has been completed. Once finished, the bridges will help farmers transport their products to market more efficiently.— Karam (DRD)
