Two people were shot and killed during a Sunday church service outside Fort Worth, Texas. Local police say the suspect was immediately shot to death after the attack.

Local media quote witnesses as saying a man entered the church on Sunday morning, took out a gun and fired twice. Church members serving as security guards reportedly shot back and killed him.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott released a statement via Twitter, calling the case an "evil act of violence."

Police say they are looking into the suspect's motive.
