THE Group B fixture of the 2024 ASEAN Cup continues today, with Myanmar set to host Laos. The match will take place at 5 pm at the Thuwun­na Youth Training Centre in Yangon. Special ticket prices are set at K5,000, while regular tickets will cost K2,000. Shuttle buses will be provided for fans to ensure easy transportation.

 

This match is crucial for both teams. Myanmar has a good chance of advancing to the next round and moving up from the bottom of the group. Meanwhile, Laos will be play­ing their final group match to­day. Currently, Myanmar has one point from two matches, while Laos has two points from three games. In their previous encounter during the group stage of the 2022 tournament, the two teams played to a 2-2 draw.

 

Myanmar’s squad features key players returning from in­jury, such as defender Soe Moe Kyaw and midfielder Win Na­ing Tun, who has been playing for the Thai club. Most regu­lar players are back in action.
