MYANMAR club ISPE FC Women continued their strong form in the 2025–2026 AFC Women’s Champions League qualifiers with an emphatic 8-0 victory over Mongolia’s Khovd Western Club on 28 August in Yangon.
The home side opened the scoring in the third minute when winger Hnin Pwint Aye curled in directly from a corner. ISPE’s relentless attack saw May Htet Lu, Shwe Yee Htun, and Lynn Myint Mo add further goals before halftime to make it 4-0.
In the second half, despite making changes to rest key players, ISPE maintained pressure. San Thaw Thaw converted a penalty on 48 minutes, Sanda Lin struck two minutes later, Phyu Phyu Win added another from the spot on 64 minutes, and Lynn Myint Mo netted her second in 68 minutes to complete the rout.
With two straight clean-sheet wins, ISPE lead Group A with six points, level with Stallion Laguna of the Philippines. Khovd Western and Guam’s Strykers remain winless after two games.
