THE establishment of the Myanmar Durian Producers and Exporters Association has been underway in Taninthayi Region, according to the Myanmar Fruit, Flower and Vegetable Producers and Exporters Association (MFVP).
Led by MFVP, the regional durian producers and exporters association is planned to be officially launched on 6 September.
The official formation will be made at Dawei Township Department of Agriculture, and durian growers in the region can attend the ceremony in person or via an online platform, said MFVP.
Durian producers and exporters associations were already formed in Yangon Region, Bago Region, Kayin State, Mon State and Ayeyawady Region. — MT/ZS
