THE ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) announced on 3 September the Best XI of the 2025 AFF Women’s Championship, which took place from 6 to 19 August. Myanmar stood out with five players selected – the highest number among all teams.
Striker Win Theingi Tun, midfielder Phyu Phyu Win, defenders Zun Yu Ya Oo and May Thet Mon Myint, and goalkeeper Myo Mya Mya Nyein were included in the team. Champions Australia contributed three players, the Philippines two, and hosts Vietnam one.
Win Theingi Tun was also named Most Dynamic Player of the Tournament, scoring seven goals to claim the Top Scorer award. Goalkeeper Myo Mya Mya Nyein earned the Best Goalkeeper award.
Myanmar finished as runners-up in the competition, while Australia took the title and Vietnam secured the third place. — Ko Nyi Lay/KZL
