ON Matchday 7 of the 2025-2026 Myan­mar Women’s League, Yangon United defeated YREO 4-1 at Padonma Stadium on 17 September.

 

League leaders Yangon United ex­tended their unbeaten run with another convincing win, maintaining pressure on Thitsa Arman, who remain level on points but with a game in hand. YREO suffered their fifth defeat of the cam­paign and once again fell to a heavy loss.

 

The strength of Yangon United showed early, and just three minutes into the match, Yoon Waddy Hlaing opened the scoring. The dominance continued, with Zin Moe Pyae netting twice in 13 and 40 minutes to give Yangon United a 3-0 lead at half-time.

 

In the 82nd minute, Ei Thet Phyo scored a consolation goal for YREO, but shortly before full time, Zin Moe Pyae converted a penalty to complete her hat-trick and secure a 4-1 win for Yangon United.

 

After this result, Yangon United have collected 16 points from seven matches, while YREO have three points from six matches.
