AYEYAWADY earned a 4-0 clean-sheet victory over Young Lionesses in the third day of Matchweek 7 of the 2025-2026 Myanmar Women’s League at Padonma Stadium in Yangon on 18 September.
Ayeyawady, who are competing closely with Thitsa Arman and Yangon United at the top of the table, secured the win without error to remain firmly in the race for the mid-season championship title. The squad, led by key players Phyu Phyu Win, Naw Htet Htet Wai, San Thaw Thaw, and Zun Yu Ya Oo, faced a Young Lionesses side built around youth selections.
Ayeyawady took control early, with striker San Thaw Thaw netting a hat-trick at three, 26, and 31 minutes to give her side a commanding first-half lead. In the second half, Ayeyawady managed the game comfortably, before midfielder Phyu Phyu Win added the fourth goal in 65 minutes.
Following the result, Ayeyawady have 14 points from six matches, while Young Lionesses remain on six points after the same number of games.
