MYANMAR coffee producers are participating in the four-day SCAJ 2025 World Speciality Coffee Conference & Exhibition that is being held from 24 to 27 September 2025 at the Tokyo In­ternational Exhibition Centre in Japan, under the theme of “Belong Together in Coffee!”, bringing insights into Speciality coffee, according to Myanmar’s Economic Attache in Japan.

 

Organized by the Speciality Coffee Association of Japan, this B2B exhibition has been held annually since 2005, featuring speciality coffee in Asia and gath­ering producing countries and regions and related industries and products all together.

 

Myanmar’s Ambassador to Japan, chair Mr Yoshihito Kato of the Speciality Coffee Association of Japan, officials of Japan’s Min­istry of Foreign Affairs, ambas­sadors of the coffee-producing countries and representatives of the embassies attended the opening ceremony.

 

Over 450 companies from 70 countries are exhibiting their products with 650 booths, attract­ing over 70,000 visitors.

 

Myanmar exhibitors show speciality coffee products and brewing demonstrations, with a view to boosting exports of Myanmar’s speciality coffee to Japan and the international mar­ket, fostering global connections, developing networking opportu­nities, gaining international exhi­bition experiences and observing innovation and production situ­ations to enhance Myanmar’s coffee sector.

 

Myanmar’s booth was joint­ly conducted by the Ministry of Commerce, Myanmar’s Embas­sy to Japan in Tokyo and ASE­AN-Japan Centre. — NN/KK
