The Union Civil Service Board (UCSB) held its second rainy season tree planting event at 8:00 a.m. today to contribute to making Nay Pyi Taw greener and more pleasant.

 

The event was attended by UCSB Chairman U Soe Min Oo, board members U San Myint, Daw Khin Myo Myint, U Ye Naing, officials, and staff. The chairman formally handed over saplings to the Permanent Secretary and Director-Generals, after which trees were planted at designated locations within the office and conservation areas.

 

A total of 550 trees, including species such as Kankaw, Khay, Malaka, Tamarind, Jackfruit, Awzar, Danthalun, Mezali, and Pyinkadoe, were planted by staff in areas around Dam No. 26, nearby staff housing, and open spaces.— MNA
