Kyaikto, 26 September

The Department of Livestock Breeding and Veterinary in Kyaikto Township, Mon State, conducted a free rabies vaccination campaign in local wards and villages on the morning of 26 September.

Dr. Phyo Wintko, Assistant Director of the department, first provided awareness on the causes, symptoms, and dangers of rabies in both humans and domestic animals. Following this, the team carried out door-to-door vaccinations, immunizing 100 domestic dogs across the township.— Kyaikto (IPRD)
