            Officials from Kalaw Township Department of Rural Development disbursed funds of emerald green project for agricultural business in Taungchay village in Myinmahti village-tract, Kalaw Township, Shan State (South) on September 29.

            First, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purpose of fund disbursement and a project responsible person and staff also explained interest rate, term and rules of the disbursement. Then, the officials handed over K 77.3 million of funds to members of emerald green project. 

            Afterwards, the members of the project disbursed K 77.3 million of funds to 108 local residents in agricultural business at low interest rate.
