            With the funds of Bago Region Government, concrete road construction is being conducted in Ward-3 in the town of Paukkhaung, Pyay District, Bago Region. Now, the project is nearing completion.

            Since the road is in the low-lying area in the town, it is usually inundated by water in monsoon season. Hence, the concrete road measuring 880 ft in length, 12 ft in width and nine inches in volume is being implemented by the end of August. Efforts are being made to meet the set standard within the target date and now, it has been completed by 90 percent, according to Township Development Committee.

Once completed, it will provide 24/7 transportation access and socioeconomic development for local residents.
