MORE than 100 Myanmar women who would go to work in Japan have been granted to attend the overseas job training course and apply for the Overseas Worker Identification Card, said the Ministry of Labour.

The ministry announced on 30 September that 101 Myanmar female workers, who have sought jobs in Japan under the management of licensed overseas employment agencies, are eligible to attend the job training course and apply to OWIC.

They are required to attend the training course on 2 October and apply for OWIC on 3 October. Those unable to meet the schedule will need to resubmit, the statement said.

The agencies will have to prepare and immediately resubmit a list of workers to be sent, including the date of dispatch within one week from the date of departure, a passport copy, an OWIC copy, and an Excel soft copy to the Department of Labour at dolmigrationjapan@gmail.com. — MT/ZS
