THE Myanmar Red Cross Society (MRCS), in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), launched a training course on Hazard Awareness and Safe Behaviour in Nay Pyi Taw on 30 September.
At the opening ceremony, MRCS Vice-President Dr Daw Tin Tin Lay and the ICRC WeC Field Manager delivered remarks.
The first training was held in Nay Pyi Taw from 25 to 28 September, with 17 Red Cross volunteers from Kayah State, Rakhine State, Shan State (North), Taninthayi Region, and Magway Region in attendance. The second course, currently being conducted from 30 September to 3 October, is hosting 17 Red Cross volunteers from Sagaing Region and Mandalay Region. — GNLM/MKKS
