Myitkyina, 3 October
Officials from the Rural Road Development Department inspected ongoing concrete paving work between Area (4) and Area (5) in Nangui Village Tract, Myitkyina Township, Kachin State, this morning.
Led by Deputy Director U Win Oo and other department officials, the team reviewed the 2.9-furlong-long, 16-foot-wide concrete road project, which is 90% complete. The road is being built using state funds from the 2025–2026 fiscal year and began in late June.
Once completed, the road will provide all-season access for over 4,800 local residents, improving connectivity and transportation in the rural area.— Cho Than Nyunt (Rural)
