TO ensure the successful holding of the 2025 multiparty democratic general elections, an election awareness signboard was erected in Mohnyin, Mohnyin District, Kachin State
The ceremony was held on 7 October at 7:30 am at the downtown junction near the Elephant Image in Nakha ward of the city.
It was attended by the chairman of the district administrative committee, U Nyi Nyi Lwin and members, the township administrative committee chairperson and members, chairpersons and members of the subcommittees of the district/township election commission, and relevant district/township authorities, according to locals.
First, the attendees planted a public awareness sign for the 2025 multiparty democratic general elections with the theme “Vote and don’t lose your citizenship rights “, sprinkled the sign with incense and took commemorative photos.
