Monghsu 9 October

            Officials from Monghsu Township Department of Rural Development are conducting installation of water pipeline to supply spring water to Naungchat village, Hipar village-tract, Monghsu Township, Shan State (South). On October 9, officials made a field trip to check the project in the township.

            The officials, engineers and community leaders inspected the installation of water pipeline measuring one mile in length and two inches in width and construction of a water tank capable of storing 5,000 gallons of water. They then asked the responsible people for the timely completion, meeting the set standard.

            With the aims of avoiding water scarcity in summer and distributing enough purified drinking water in all seasons, the Township Department of Rural Development conducted the project and related works with K 56.147 million of funds of State this fiscal year starting from first week of July. Now, 50 percent of the project has been completed.
