MAGWAY Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin, accompanied by regional ministers and officials, visited the Region Call Centre at the Magway Region Election Subcommission Office yester­day morning.

 

The call centre was es­tablished to respond to public inquiries about the upcoming multiparty democratic general election scheduled for 28 De­cember 2025.

 

During the inspection, he instructed officials to provide clear answers to questions re­garding voter registration in accordance with the law and regulations. He also directed the Call Centre officials to system­atically compile and maintain records of all election-related instructions, keep daily logs and telephone call records, and en­sure uninterrupted phone lines. Additionally, he emphasized that officials should provide clear and accurate answers to all oth­er election-related questions in line with the election law and regulations.

 

Then, the Regional Minister for Security and Border Affairs outlined the security plan, the Secretary of the Magway Re­gion Government explained the establishment of call centres across the region’s districts and townships, and the Chairman and Secretary of the Magway Region Election Subcommis­sion described functions of the Magway Region Call Centre.
