THE 105th Myanmar Motion Pic­tures Day and 48th Respect-Pay­ing Ceremony for film industry elders took place at the office of Myanmar Motion Pictures Or­ganization in Bahan Township of Yangon yesterday.

 

Deputy Minister for Infor­mation U Ye Tint, Yangon Re­gion Ethnic Affairs Minister U Saw Jacob Htoo, MMPO Chair U Kyi Soe Tun and relevant of­ficials cut the ribbon to inaugu­rate the 105th Myanmar Motion Pictures Day.

 

They observed the shops in the MMPO compound.

 

During the 48th Re­spect-Paying Ceremony for film industry elders, the deputy minister presented K10 million donated by Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla to U Aung Lwin, patron of MMPO, while K15 million donated by the region government, K3 million by the Ministry of Information, over K6.7million by Forever Group, K2 million by USDP (central), K1 million by region USDP and K2.8 million by Mingalar Cine­ma Shin Family.

 

The deputy minister and party paid respect to the elder­ly and concluded the event. — MNA/KTZH
