A cash assistance distribution event for pregnant women and children under two was held this morning at the Myanmar Economic Bank in Mong Ping Township, Shan State (East).

Under the supervision of the Department of Social Welfare, a total of 370 beneficiaries—including 82 pregnant women and 288 children under two from 24 wards and village tracts—received financial support of K15,000 per month for the seven-month period from April to October 2025.

The Myanmar Economic Bank will continue distributing the cash assistance to eligible mothers and children in Mong Ping Township until 22 December 2025.— Nan Thantar Oo (IPRD)
